This is a bumblebee on a sedum plant flower. Bees sure do love these flowers. The plants are swarming with them. Digital photography is just as much a passion for me as knitting.
Can you feel autumn coming on? Autumn here is wonderful. The air is cool and crisp and Mother Nature gets out her paints and dazzles the earth with color. The cooler air is here and I see faint beginnings of color starting to happen. It's also the beginning of jackets and putting away the sandals. It also means sweaters will come out. Can mittens and scarves be far behind? I cannot imagine living somewhere where the seasons do not change with all the glory that they do where I live.
Since I finished that last pair of socks, I have been thinking about my next pair. I will be using the "grapevine" yarn that I dyed. I think I may try some cables on the next pair. Not too many. Just one or two on the cuff and down the front. This weekend, I promise to work on my daughter's sweater, and not just on socks. That cold weather is fast approaching.

Sonja, I'm happy to see I'm not the only knitter who loves photography! Very very nice bee photo. I started a blog for knitting called Fiber and Photography, any excuse to take some pictures!
