We absolutely had a wonderful time yesterday. We visited 2 parts of Cazenovia Creek in Sardinia, NY, Emery Park in the Town of Wales, NY and the wildlife refuge in East Aurora, NY. I shot many nature photos from these various beautiful sites in WNY.
We saw a wolf, a great blue heron, hundreds of mallard ducks, some wood ducks, assorted toads, hundreds of bees, dozens of various fungi types, many many wildflowers too numerous to mention. What a great day. It was overcast, but we never saw a drop of rain. I invite you to check out my photos.

When I got home, I managed to get in a little bit of knitting the mate of the blue/purple sock seen in previous post. Today, it is raining. Darn! I so wanted to mow the lawn today (NOT!) Guess I'll have to settle for knitting!

Hi Sonja,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. That looks like beautiful yarn, and it is a fabulous colour. I love your cabled socks as well.
