October Surprise

I dyed this yarn during the storm and its aftermath, when we were still without power. I could boil water, and that's all the power I needed to complete the process. I call it October Surprise, because some goofy local radio station is calling the storm October Surprise. I guess the humor is in the fact that the snowfall on October 12 was a record, and not at all what is expected for so early in the fall. Check it out in my yarn shop: www.thankewe.etsy.com.
Still plugging away on my daughter's sweater. Now I get to watch for the mailman, knowing that my Sockret Pal has sent me a package. What could it be? I can't wait to find out! I love surprises.
No more posts until next week. Taking the family (daughter and dog) to the farm in PA for the weekend. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

What beautiful colours. I can't imagine what a snowstorm is like. Our climate is so different. Right now my roses are blooming, and my veges growing
