Reclaiming Wool and Debris-filled parking lot

Here's a cameraphone pic of the piles of debris coming from various neighborhoods, waiting to be chopped up into mulch. I didn't have my camera with me, so you can't really see the magnitude of the ridges of tree debris. This is a huge parking lot and it is nearly full of this tree debris.

What I didn't tell you about my weekend at the farm was that Ryan, my son's spouse, gave me two wool sweaters for yarn reclaiming. They are beautiful! There's a charcoal gray one and a beautiful oatmeal colored one. Can't wait to dig in to the disassembling and unraveling to reclaim the lovely wool! When I get to it, I take some good photos and post them here. I think they are all about socks, but that's my personal preference. I like thick wool socks - great for wearing inside of boots. Keep your feets warm and dry!
