I have been enjoying dyeing yarn so much I decided to open up my own etsy shot. It's called
Thank Ewe!
and it can be found at www.thankewe.etsy.com
This is where I will primarily be offering my hand dyed yarns.
In other knitting news, I am plugging away at my daughter's cable knit hooded sweater, a la E. Zimmerman. It's coming along nicely. I am at the point where I no longer need to refer to the pattern instructions for all the various cable stitches. I can tell by looking at the knitted fabric what to do. Don't you love when it gets to that point and you don't have to constantly look at the pattern? Now I can take it anywhere to work on. No need to drag so much along with me. I am hoping that I can begin to work on the sleeves this week, having the body nearly done. The body, from underarm to hem, is an amazing 30 inches! That's how long she wants it. That's a lot of stitches, but it's lovely to work on. I'll keep you posted.
Don't you love fall? I do. This is such a beautiful part of the country where fall makes a colorful splash on the landscape. I love the cool, crisp air of fall. I leave you with that and another photo.
