Apeldoorn Tulip Yarn

This is another new hand dyed yarn. I call it Apeldoorn Tulip - that's what it reminds me of. Apeldoorns are my favorite tulip, for their bright, beautiful colors and delicious scent. See this sock yarn at www.thankewe.etsy.com. Etsy is down for the weekend due to upgrading, so you will have to wait until after the weekend.

This one is called brown multi - also hand dyed, 100% merino wool sock yarn.

My big package from KnitPicks arrived two days ago. Instead of ordering the 100% Merino wool sock yarn for dyeing, I ordered their Superwash wool sock yarn for dyeing. So the next batch of hand dyed yarns I produce will be machine washable. The yarn is a little more expensive, but I think it will be worth an extra two dollars to be able to throw the socks into the washer, don't you? So, watch the shop for new sock yarns with this new yarn.

Both of these sold in pretty short order. I am now offering the Apeldoorn yarn in superwash wool sock yarn version - and one of those has sold too! This seems to be a very popular colorway.
