
Here's the new spindle. I ordered it from spindlemaker on etsy. He's in Australia. This is a fine piece of craftsmanship. The whorl is made from rosewood; the shaft is made from mountain ash.

Here's my beginning spinning. It's been a few years, so it's almost like starting over. It spins fast when I don't overload it with fiber. I tend to do the draft and park thing, since I'm learning.

Finished my socks today. Another pair to add to my collection. I still don't have enough socks! These are knit with worsted weight yarn that I dyed myself a few months back. They are yummy. Nice and warm and soft.

when i glance i thought the roving was actually a bowl of peaches. the colors are lovely.
