All the places we have lived...

I have a new set of photos that will be of interest primarily to my family members. It is entitled "our houses". Since so many of us have lived in various places and are now located across the country, I thought it would be a good idea to keep a record of the houses we have lived in. You can take a look at http://flickr.com/photos/sumptinelse/sets/72157594567093725/ The house shown above is the house I lived in as a child, from 1959 to 1966, although it is very different from how it was then. Take a look at the notes on the flickr site.

On the knitting front, I am still working on my peaches/cream lace socks, a few rows here and there in between working 2 jobs, dyeing yarn, going on photo adventures, and all the usual run-of-the-mill daily chores.
I smell spring, despite the snow and the wind and the cold. It's coming. Mother Nature promises, and I can smell it. Hang in there, frozen people!

Just curious, why are a lot of
the houses where you lived, you took
photos in the snow? Did you live
in cold places? Or do you only
take pictures of houses when it's snowy.

Don't mind me.

I have taken many of these just in the past few days and it's still snowy here. I have gathered a few more old photos. You'll see, there IS summer here part of the time.
