Brooklyn and New Hand Dyed Yarns

Happy Birthday to us!
View of Manhatten from Williamsburg

Last weekend, my daughter and I traveled to Brooklyn to visit with my son to celebrate two things - his art show at the Envoy Gallery and all of our birthdays. We had a great time! It was an on-the-go weekend. We went to several fun restaurants in Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (wonderful!), several parks with great views. We spent half of Saturday in Manhatten, at the art show and the Pearl River Store for shopping. I came home with some premium green tea and tea accoutrements. Too much to choose from! Luckily, they have a website as well. You can see more of my photos from the trip at http://flickr.com/photos/sumptinelse/

New yarns going up in my etsy shop! ALL superwash sock yarn. The photo above is just a few of them. Visit me at www.thankewe.etsy.com.

Ahh, how nice that you visited my birthplace. My Mom used to wheel me around in the stroller at the Brooklyn Botanical.

Your yarn looks delicous! I just ordered a skein of the tangerine and berry and can't wait to see it!
