I finished these socks just a few days ago. I have started another pair in more of our worsted weight hand dyed yarn. These are all for Christmas gifts, so I am not going to show them here. Certain family members who shall remain nameless read my blog occasionally.
Emily and I have just finished dyeing some wonderful bamboo/superwash merino sock yarn that turned out LOVELY! It has the nicest sheen to it in addition to being soft and easy to work with. These yarns should be listed in our shop on Sunday, Sept. 30. They just need to finish drying in the fresh air and rewound into twisted skeins. We dyed them in some natural colors. That just seemed right, with the bamboo. Browns, tans, brick, blue, green, russet and golden yellow are the colors we chose. We dyed 10 of them, each one different. Take a look tomorrow and see the new yarns.
We got another shipment of our fabulous 3-ply superwash merino sock yarn today, so the shop will be filled.
