Entry Visa Application Time

Having received my sponsorship certificate, I am now engaging in the application of my entry visa to the UK. Holy pdf file, Batman! There are so many documents to wade through! After obtaining my biometrics appointment and completing the entry forms, I will overnight them, along with my passport and other docs, to a courier service in NYC that specializes in obtaining visas. There's a fee to apply online for the "leave for entry", a fee for the courier, and postage to get the documents back. I will be saving the receipts for reimbursement from ECC upon arrival in England. This process, all told, will take about a week. Afterward, I may be able to book my flight. Shooting for a October 22 departure!
