Today's update is: I am now officially registered in the UK as a qualified social worker with the GSCC, another milestone met. Things are moving forward at a reasonably steady pace.
My sister Sandy is planning a Bon Voyage party for me at the end of the month. What a sweetie! It will be fun to get together with friends and family for a big bash before leaving for Essex.
I was driving around the countryside this morning, meandering through the Boston Hills. The glorious autumn colors have started creeping in. The air is crisp. I swear I can smell apples and cinnamon in the air. My favorite season!
