Lace Socks on Sticks

Here are the socks I am working on right now. I mentioned the pattern in my previous post. It's the Hedera pattern from knitty.com. I am using my own hand dyed superwash wool sock yarn in peaches and cream. The socks are knit on size #1 dpns, 4 of them. I usually use 5, but this pattern calls for 4. Once I figured out all the little details of the lace pattern, it is moving along nicely, if slowly. They remind me of spring. I put the sock over a rolled up piece of paper so you can see the lace pattern better. Click on the photos for a larger image and more detailed view. These are going out to a special someone when finished. Hope special someone likes them.
Correction regarding my post on my New Swift. The etsy site I listed is the swift-makers spouse who makes shawl pins and more. To see the swift-maker's wares, visit ebay and search seller: cbgerstner. You will be happy!

They are girly, aren't they? Very feminine looking.

Ohh, that looks really nice.

I love the colours of that yarn; it's making me crave a creamcicle!

(someday I will have the money to buy some of your yarn before it all sells out!)

You can always custom order my yarns as well, when the time is right.
