Check out these fabulous socks that Spinster knit from our tomato vine superwash sock yarn. Just click the title. Aren't they fabulous??
So what are all of you doing for the fourth? Picnics? Fireworks? Bar-b-q? Baseball games?
I will probably do some grilling, but Mother Nature may make me grill indoors. Looks like she may provide the fireworks herself tomorrow night!
I will be doing some yarn dyeing. We just got a shipment of Wool2Dye4's Supersock yarn - 10 lbs of it - so that should keep us busy for a while. It's very nice yarn, soft, merino superwash. A little thinner than other sock yarns we've had before, but very nice. We will be selling dyed skeins of it in 4 oz. skeins, about 490 yards each skein. Want to special order some in specific color combos from our shop? Just go to www.thankewe.etsy.com and send us a convo to order in a color combo that we have made before - or if you have an idea of your own - we can do that too! If you would rather send us an email to order, that's fine. sumptinelse@yahoo.com.
I have finished knitting 2 pair of socks in worsted weight yarn - one of my own hand dyed yarns - blue spruce. The other is in a wool blend - not in our yarn. I will post pics soon.
Hope you all have a Safe and Happy Fourth of July!
