I'll be wandering the countryside after today in search of wifi. The equipment comes down in my house today and I must make some adjustments. That's a tough one. I'm sure I'll manage. I'll remember books, knitting, cleaning (eck!), and the telephone. I figured it would be good to put up a new blogpost since it's the last easy day to do so. I'm giving away my PC (oh no!!) to DD and will be completely dependent upon my iPodT for over a month.
The house is getting emptied out. Pots and pans are getting packed. My daughter moved her furniture to her Dad's. Half of my shippables are in storage. Soon, I will be without permanent roots. I am anticipating not just inconvenience of that way of living, but also the joy in simplicity. It's traveling light in the extreme. Seeing how simply I can live. I'm not giving up all my worldly goods, but I have pared them down to clothes plus a few things to make me feel at home when I arrive in England and have my own place. In between here and there, I'll be living out of a suitcase.
Just another part of the adventure!

Ah - not without roots, my friend - but I know it must feel that way. You'll always have someone who's thinking about you back home.
And isn't 21st century communications a pseudo-miracle? IPODTs? WIFI? Intertubes?
Did you realize that my "other car" is on it's way to Pluto? Really - it is. To be part of all this - to see this kind of stuff in our lifetimes is just this side of amazing.
Sorry - gushing. Sal & I are looking forward to regular reports from local British pubs (from you!).
Aw, tell me about your other car - a probe? Or give link to read all about it. Cool to the extreme.
Don't wanna take over the thread, but since you asked...
