Today was an amazing day! It was filled with wonderful deliveries. A package for my daughter, a package for me, and my passport with UK entry visa. I just had my biometrics done on Wednesday and 2 days later, my passport was returned! It's was incredible.
I also finally managed to get a document faxed and fedexed to London today. The prices of these things astound me. The fax was about $25. The shipping of originals was $45. Holy cow! You can bet I'm saving those receipts for reimbursement, even if just on principle. Never mind that the nearest Fedex office was 30 miles away.
On the way back, it was drizzly. and gray. The roads were glistening, in sharp contrast to the color of the foliage along the countryside. I just happened to have my camera, so I caught a few shots.
